How we earn money
marginstory.co.uk is funded by affiliate commissions. Some of the links on our Site are affiliate links, meaning that if you click one of them and complete a qualifying purchase at the retailer's website, we may receive a small commission from that retailer at no additional cost to you.
What this means for you
- The price you pay is the same. Affiliate commission is paid by the retailer out of their existing margin — your basket total is unaffected.
- Commission does not influence rankings. Our comparison tables sort strictly by total price (item + delivery). The cheapest legitimate offer is always shown first, regardless of which partner pays us more.
- We label promoted content. Any post that is paid for or sponsored beyond regular affiliate compensation is clearly marked “Sponsored” or “Advertisement” in line with UK ASA / CMA guidance.
Who we partner with
We currently work with the affiliate network AWIN (UK) and a small number of direct merchant programmes. The list of active partners may change over time.
UK consumer-protection compliance
This disclosure is provided in line with the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance on hidden advertising, and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) CAP Code rule 2.4 requiring identification of marketing communications.
